As part of their work for this year’s school magazine, our Year 3 students embarked on a journey through history with the Athens National Historical Museum programme “Getting to Know Greek Traditional Costumes”!
They explored the vibrant fabrics, colours, and patterns of traditional outfits, learned how styles varied across regions, and discovered the different types of costumes: daily, formal, and bridal. But the best part? They got to try them on! 🤩
Feeling the difference firsthand, they compared them to modern clothes, spotting both unique contrasts and surprising similarities! What a fun and insightful experience! 👏✨
